FORCED AIR FURNACES

A forced air furnace is equipped with a blower that pushes air over a sealed combustion area of the furnace called a heat exchanger. The air is then sent thru the ductwork of your home. As the furnace is blowing warm air, the cold air is pulled back to the furnace thru another set of metal ducts called the return air system.

Investing in proper maintenance or installing a new unit will provide a return on the investment. We have a furnaces to fit every budget. Furnaces we sell today are up to 97.7% energy efficient!

HIGH VELOCITY /
MINI DUCT SYSTEM

This system allows the heating and cooling system to be used in unique installation situations. The system uses two inch supply tubing to move conditioned air thru smaller areas than a conventional system. In this area of the country it is used more often as a cooling system than for heating. Although there are times, when used in conjunction with other systems; a high velocity system is the way to go.

HEAT PUMPS

A heat pump will heat your home in the winter and cool it in the summer. The system uses condensing refrigerant like standard AC systems. However the direction the refrigerant flow changes depending on the season.

In our area of the country, an additional heat source is needed to get thru our cold winters. In some southern climates the heat pump is the only system they use for all of their HVAC needs.

THERMOSTATS

The easiest way to increase the efficiency of how you heat your home is to use a programmable thermostat. If you are out of the house during the day you can program temperatures to save money. There are even thermostats available that can be controlled from your phone, detect motion and light, to reduce the amount of time your system runs.

HERE ARE A FEW THERMOSTATS WE RECOMMEND:

  • Honeywell

  • Ecobee

  • White Rogers

  • Total Line

  • Aprilaire
